During Monday’s episode of the Today show, Rebecca, 60, revealed that she has been living with Parkinson’s since receiving her diagnosis in 2015, though the first warning signs appeared years earlier. Looking back, she said it all began around 2012 with a slight numbness in her left foot. A cloud of fear has descended on a Benue family after their relative, Tartenger Terdue James, was kidnapped on Tuesday evening while travelling to Cross River State to buy palm oil for his traditional marriage which is scheduled for this Saturday.


Relatives say the abductors are demanding ₦3 million and have issued a chilling threat to dump his body by the roadside if the ransom isn’t paid.


The family is pleading for urgent help and praying for his safe release. “This is deeply heartbreaking".
