 Beloved actor Ras Ajai, 47, 'shot dead' while walking down a street A beloved film star and musician has di£d. Ras Ajai, whose real name was Brian Todd Boucher, played JLP political enforcer Claudie Massop in the 2024 film Bob Marley: One Love biopic. He was reportedly shot in Waterford, St. Catherine, Jamaica, at the age of 47. He rubbed shoulders with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when they arrived at the movie's Jamaican premiere. Another person is reported to have sustained injuries during the assault, which remains under investigation by St Catherine South Police. Sources say the reggae and dancehall artist, vocalist and composer was walking down a street with a companion on Saturday, August 1, when they were attacked by armed criminals travelling in a vehicle.   Cash-in-Transit Heist Attempt Turns Fatal for Khakhala Duo in Kempton Park

Two men from Khakhala village outside Giyani allegedly attempted a cash-in-transit heist in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni, Gauteng. The incident reportedly took place earlier today.


According to preliminary information, the pair was using an Uber vehicle when they targeted the cash-in-transit vehicle. Security guards responded and fired back during the confrontation.


One suspect died at the scene, while the second was critically injured and rushed to hospital for further medical attention. Police are expected to launch a full investigation into the matter, including the origins of the vehicle and possible links to other criminal activities.
