 2026 LABOUR DAY: LASG ANNOUNCES ₦50,000 SALARY SUPPORT FOR WORKERS, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO WELFARE, INDUSTRIAL HARMONY  Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has approved an additional ₦50,000 to State workers’ salaries for May as part of efforts to cushion the prevailing economic hardship, particularly the impact of rising fuel prices. The Governor announced the 2026 Workers Day celebration themed “Insecurity, Poverty: Bane of Decent Work,” held on Friday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan-Lagos. He reiterated that the intervention, which will be reviewed underscores his administration’s resolve to ensure that Lagos remains not only a functional city but one that works for its residents, especially the workforce that drives its growth and development.  DIRECTORS' GUILD OF NIGERIA HONOURS YUL EDOCHIE'S 20YEARS IN THE INDUSTRY


The Directors Guild of Nigeria(DGN), has confirmed its prestigious award of honour on Nollywood actor Yul Edochie over his 20 active years in the movie industry and contributing immensely to the growth of Nollywood.


The award will be presented to him today December 21st 2025 at the DGN "Dinner and Awards night 2025", scheduled for 6pm.


This awards goes to Yul also, for being one of the greatest actors and directors in Nollywood presently.


The actor took to his Facebook page today to announce this, and thanked the guild for the recognition.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
