 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Domestic Dispute Turns Deadly as Woman Killed, Suspect Also Dies Following Community Attack 


 A 38-year-old woman was killed following an alleged domestic dispute involving her 40-year-old boyfriend on 26 December 2025 at about 16h30 pm at Tjibeng village. It is reported that the woman had locked herself inside the house, fearing for her safety.


 The suspect allegedly gained entry after convincing a family member that he only wanted to speak to her. Shortly after, the suspect was seen fleeing the scene carrying a knife.


 The woman was found critically injured and was declared dead at the scene by emergency services. The victim’s brother later located the suspect and attempted to apprehend him. During the confrontation, the brother was stabbed and sustained injuries.


 The suspect was later attacked by community members near a tavern and sustained severe injuries. Emergency medical services were called, and the suspect was certified dead at the scene.
