 Otti Slams Julius Abure Over Continued Sale of Labour Party Nomination Forms Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has strongly criticised the former National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Julius Abure, for proceeding with the sale of governorship nomination forms despite opposition from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and subsisting court rulings. The criticism follows a viral photograph showing Abure presenting a Labour Party nomination form to a former National Vice Chairman of the party, Ceekay Igara, in the company of other party members.  EFCC Arrests Man For Possession Of Counterfeit Notes


The Kaduna Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, is investigating Abubakar Salihu who was arrested while in possession of 305 pieces of $100 bills suspected to be counterfeit. Salihu was arrested by officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Patrol Team on Kaduna-Abuja Express Way on 4th December, 2025, and was handed over to the EFCC, Kaduna Zonal Directorate, on the 5th December, 2025 for further investigation.
