 KADIRS Warns Residents Against Fake Revenue Collectors, Introduces E-Demand Notice As Sole Payment Authorization The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) has cautioned taxpayers and residents of Kaduna State against making revenue payments without first obtaining an official E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice), warning that fraudsters may exploit outdated payment processes to defraud the public. In a public announcement issued on Thursday, KADIRS said the move forms part of its ongoing efforts to automate revenue collection and enhance transparency across the state.  The agency disclosed that manual demand notices previously used for Local Government revenue collection have been phased out and are no longer recognized. According to KADIRS, the E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice) has officially replaced the former Local Government Harmonized Demand Notice and is now the only valid document for on-the-spot taxpayer assessment through the state's Central Billing System. FOREIGN NATIONAL ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION AND DEALING IN DRUGS AT SAVANNA MALL. (PHOTO).


 Foreign national arrested for possession and dealing in drugs at Savanna Mall


 Members of the Public Order Policing Unit in Polokwane arrested a 35-year-old male foreign national for possession and dealing in drugs at Savanna Mall on Tuesday, 09 December 2025.


 The arrest formed part of SAPS festive-season operations focusing on dismantling gangs and disrupting drug trafficking.


 Police acted on a tip-off about individuals allegedly selling drugs around one of the malls in Polokwane.


 Upon arrival, officers identified a suspect matching the description given.


 The suspect was found with a plastic bag containing drugs and attempted to flee towards his white Ford Fiesta with Gauteng registration plates.


 During the escape, he collided with a delivery bakkie belonging to a nearby shop and attempted to flee on foot.


 Police chased and quickly apprehended him.


 A search was conducted at his residence in Taurus Avenue, Sterpark, where Nyaope drugs were also recovered.


 Police confiscated Nyaope, crystal meth, and heroin.


 The suspect is expected to appear before the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 11 December 2025, facing charges of possession of and dealing in drugs.
