 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. FOREIGN NATIONAL ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION AND DEALING IN DRUGS AT SAVANNA MALL. (PHOTO).

 Foreign national arrested for possession and dealing in drugs at Savanna Mall


 Members of the Public Order Policing Unit in Polokwane arrested a 35-year-old male foreign national for possession and dealing in drugs at Savanna Mall on Tuesday, 09 December 2025.


 The arrest formed part of SAPS festive-season operations focusing on dismantling gangs and disrupting drug trafficking.


 Police acted on a tip-off about individuals allegedly selling drugs around one of the malls in Polokwane.


 Upon arrival, officers identified a suspect matching the description given.


 The suspect was found with a plastic bag containing drugs and attempted to flee towards his white Ford Fiesta with Gauteng registration plates.


 During the escape, he collided with a delivery bakkie belonging to a nearby shop and attempted to flee on foot.


 Police chased and quickly apprehended him.


 A search was conducted at his residence in Taurus Avenue, Sterpark, where Nyaope drugs were also recovered.


 Police confiscated Nyaope, crystal meth, and heroin.


 The suspect is expected to appear before the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 11 December 2025, facing charges of possession of and dealing in drugs.
