 Beloved actor Ras Ajai, 47, 'shot dead' while walking down a street A beloved film star and musician has di£d. Ras Ajai, whose real name was Brian Todd Boucher, played JLP political enforcer Claudie Massop in the 2024 film Bob Marley: One Love biopic. He was reportedly shot in Waterford, St. Catherine, Jamaica, at the age of 47. He rubbed shoulders with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when they arrived at the movie's Jamaican premiere. Another person is reported to have sustained injuries during the assault, which remains under investigation by St Catherine South Police. Sources say the reggae and dancehall artist, vocalist and composer was walking down a street with a companion on Saturday, August 1, when they were attacked by armed criminals travelling in a vehicle. FOREIGN NATIONAL ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION AND DEALING IN DRUGS AT SAVANNA MALL. (PHOTO).

 Foreign national arrested for possession and dealing in drugs at Savanna Mall


 Members of the Public Order Policing Unit in Polokwane arrested a 35-year-old male foreign national for possession and dealing in drugs at Savanna Mall on Tuesday, 09 December 2025.


 The arrest formed part of SAPS festive-season operations focusing on dismantling gangs and disrupting drug trafficking.


 Police acted on a tip-off about individuals allegedly selling drugs around one of the malls in Polokwane.


 Upon arrival, officers identified a suspect matching the description given.


 The suspect was found with a plastic bag containing drugs and attempted to flee towards his white Ford Fiesta with Gauteng registration plates.


 During the escape, he collided with a delivery bakkie belonging to a nearby shop and attempted to flee on foot.


 Police chased and quickly apprehended him.


 A search was conducted at his residence in Taurus Avenue, Sterpark, where Nyaope drugs were also recovered.


 Police confiscated Nyaope, crystal meth, and heroin.


 The suspect is expected to appear before the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 11 December 2025, facing charges of possession of and dealing in drugs.
