 SOLUDO APPOINTS DR. UWAEME AS NEW ASHIA EXECUTIVE SECRETARY By Chisom Okafor The Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has appointed Dr. Ezeaka Augustine Uwaeme as the new Executive Secretary of the Anambra State Health Insurance Agency. Dr. Uwaeme, who hails from Ogwuikpele in Ogbaru Local Government Area of the state, is a medical doctor with over 22 years of experience in Medicine and Surgery. He is known for his strong background in both clinical practice and healthcare administration. The appointment was disclosed in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Christian Aburime. According to the statement, Dr. Uwaeme’s experience and leadership are expected to support ongoing efforts to improve the state’s health insurance system and ensure more residents have access to affordable and quality healthcare services.  GBOKO POLICE SEEK PARENTOF UNIDENTIFIED GIRL

A young girl whose identity is yet to be established has been found along the Ministry of Works axis in Adekaa, Gboko, Benue State.


According to a message circulating on social media, the child was picked up in the area and taken to B Division Police Station, Gbar-mkar, for safety and further assistance.


Residents who recognise the girl or have information about her parents are urged to contact them and advise them to report to the police station promptly.


The police say timely information will help reunite the child with her family as soon as possible.
