 Veekee James and Husband Femi Atere Welcome Their First Child Together Veekee James and her husband, Femi Atere, have welcomed their first child together. The celebrity designer announced the birth of their baby through a series of beautiful family photos shared online, alongside an emotional message describing the newborn as a special blessing and the start of a new chapter in their lives. Sharing the announcement, she wrote: “She’s Here 🤍 @elianaatere 🥹 02-May-26 Eliana Adeife Atere ❤️ EL (God) and ANA (He has answered), signifying “My God has answered” 1 Samuel 1:27 – “For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him.”” Following the announcement, fans, colleagues, and well-wishers across the entertainment and fashion industries flooded social media with congratulatory messages for the couple.  Gov Alex Otti meets President Tinubu

On Nnamdi Kanu's case


President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday received Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.


While the official agenda of the meeting was not publicly disclosed, sources indicate to Vanguard thay discussion was highly likely connected to ongoing efforts to secure the release of the convicted leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.


The engagement follows Governor Otti’s recent high-profile visit to Kanu at the Sokoto prison facility, where the IPOB leader is serving a life sentence following his conviction on terrorism-related charges on November 20, 2025.


Governor Otti has consistently maintained that resolving Nnamdi Kanu’s case remains a priority for his administration.
