 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. On Nnamdi Kanu's case


President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday received Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.


While the official agenda of the meeting was not publicly disclosed, sources indicate to Vanguard thay discussion was highly likely connected to ongoing efforts to secure the release of the convicted leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.


The engagement follows Governor Otti’s recent high-profile visit to Kanu at the Sokoto prison facility, where the IPOB leader is serving a life sentence following his conviction on terrorism-related charges on November 20, 2025.


Governor Otti has consistently maintained that resolving Nnamdi Kanu’s case remains a priority for his administration.
