 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Gov Alex Otti meets President Tinubu

On Nnamdi Kanu's case


President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday received Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.


While the official agenda of the meeting was not publicly disclosed, sources indicate to Vanguard thay discussion was highly likely connected to ongoing efforts to secure the release of the convicted leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.


The engagement follows Governor Otti’s recent high-profile visit to Kanu at the Sokoto prison facility, where the IPOB leader is serving a life sentence following his conviction on terrorism-related charges on November 20, 2025.


Governor Otti has consistently maintained that resolving Nnamdi Kanu’s case remains a priority for his administration.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
