 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  HERDSMEN AMBUSH MOURNERS IN ADO LGA, INJURE TWO & SEIZE MOTORCYCLE

Grief turned to horror in Ado Local Government Area of Benue State on Friday, December 5, 2025, when Fulani herdsmen ambushed mourners escorting a corpse from Igumale to Ulayi town.  


- The attackers struck along a lonely road, launching a surprise assault.  

- Two victims, Hon. Philip Okpekwu and Benedict Ogaba, sustained injuries.  

- The assailants also stole a motorcycle, deepening the community’s anguish.  


The incident has heightened fears in Benue South Senatorial District, where tensions between herders and locals continue to escalate. Residents have condemned the attack and are calling for urgent security measures to protect vulnerable communities.
