 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity. Deputy governor of Anambra state, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, who spoke to newsmen yesterday in his new office at the new state Government House christened "Light House, Awka" has hailed Governor Chukwuma Soludo over his vision.


He said that he went to inspect the ongoing reconstruction of the old Government House Awka, designated to serve as the headquarters of the state's "Solution Innovation District (SID)", and, discovered to his shock when he got to the building housing his former office that only two blocks were what the "roofing sheets" of that his old office rested on throughout the more the over three years he stayed in the building as deputy governor.


He praised the God for protecting him throughout the years he occupied the building without it collapsing on him and also applauded his principal, Governor Soludo for his transformational leadership in Anambra,stating that he is happy and proud to be part of Soludo's Administration.


"I have been in the government of the previous administration, and, I can say that His Excellency, Mr Governor Chukwuma Soludo has a great vision for our state"

"Is it in the area of road infrastructure. You can now take from any part of the state, and, within 30 and 45 minutes, you are in the state capital city, Awka"


"In the education sector, Anambra state is winning international and national awards; in the health there is no longer baby factories", he eulogised further"


Earlier the state commissioner for Information information, Dr. Law Mefor in a joint news briefing with his Entertainment and Culture counterpart, Mr. Don Onyenji, as well as, press secretary to the governor, Mr Christian Aburime unveiled various programmes of the state government to make the Christmas festivities a huge enjoyment period for "everyone in the state".


Among the package include masquerade displays, entertainment by renowned musicians in the industry like the state-born Flavour, among others.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
