 KADIRS Warns Residents Against Fake Revenue Collectors, Introduces E-Demand Notice As Sole Payment Authorization The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) has cautioned taxpayers and residents of Kaduna State against making revenue payments without first obtaining an official E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice), warning that fraudsters may exploit outdated payment processes to defraud the public. In a public announcement issued on Thursday, KADIRS said the move forms part of its ongoing efforts to automate revenue collection and enhance transparency across the state.  The agency disclosed that manual demand notices previously used for Local Government revenue collection have been phased out and are no longer recognized. According to KADIRS, the E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice) has officially replaced the former Local Government Harmonized Demand Notice and is now the only valid document for on-the-spot taxpayer assessment through the state's Central Billing System. Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Olayemi Cardoso, in Abuja. He was accompanied by the Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency Babajide Sanwo-Olu.


During the meeting, Governor Uzodimma and his delegation held strategic discussions with the CBN Governor on strengthening collaborative frameworks aimed at enhancing the welfare of Nigerians. The engagement focused on ongoing economic programmes and explored additional areas for cooperation between state governments and the apex bank.


Governor Uzodimma emphasized the importance of sustained partnerships in promoting economic stability, long-term national development, and policies that advance growth across the federation. The leaders expressed commitment to deepening cooperation to ensure that current and future initiatives continue to yield positive outcomes for citizens.
