 ANAMBRA SHMB WARNS HEALTH INFORMATION OFFICERS OVER LATE REPORTS, REITERATES 7TH-DAY DEADLINE By Ebele Egoh The Anambra State Hospital Management Board (SHMB) has urged Health Information Management Officers to ensure accurate medical records, timely data submission and strict protection of patients’ confidential information to strengthen healthcare delivery across the state. The Director of Medical Support Services of the Board, Mrs Nneka Uzor, gave the call during a meeting and training session for health information personnel held on Oct. 9 at the SHMB conference hall. Mrs Uzor stressed that maintaining complete medical records and safeguarding patients’ information are essential professional responsibilities, cautioning  the officers against disclosing sensitive health information to unauthorised persons and urged them to uphold the highest standards of confidentiality.  Man arrested following pepper spray incident in Heathrow Airport parking garage

Police in London arrested a man on Sunday following a pepper spray attack in a Heathrow Airport parking garage. Several people were assaulted in the Terminal 3 garage and were taken to the hospital by ambulance; authorities said their injuries are not considered serious.

The confrontation reportedly began as an argument between two groups who were familiar with each other. Officials confirmed the incident is not being treated as a terrorism-related case. One man has been taken into custody on suspicion of assault, while police continue to search for additional suspects who fled the scene.
