 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail. Obamas planned to meet Rob and Michele Reiner the night the Hollywood couple were killed

Former First Lady Michelle Obama revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that she and former President Barack Obama had planned to see Rob and Michele Reiner the night the couple was tragically killed. The Reiners were found dead from apparent knife wounds in their Brentwood home Sunday afternoon. Their 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, was arrested later that night on suspicion of the killings.

Michelle Obama described the Reiners as “some of the most decent, courageous people you ever want to know,” pushing back against President Trump’s comments labeling Rob Reiner “deranged” and “tortured and struggling.” She emphasized the couple’s dedication to family, fairness, and equity. The Obamas, who have long ties to Hollywood through their Higher Ground production company, expressed heartbreak over the loss. Barack Obama issued a statement mourning the couple, praising Rob Reiner’s achievements in film and television, and highlighting the couple’s lifelong commitment to purpose and inspiring others.
