 SANWO-OLU INSPECTS VANDALISED BRIDGE POLE ALONG LAGOS-BADAGRY EXPRESSWAY •Governor reassures residents about bridge safety   The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Saturday, carried out an on-the-spot assessment of a vandalised bridge pole at Vin-Niger, along the Lagos-Badagry Expressway in Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area. He assured Lagos residents that the structural integrity of the bridge had not been compromised, emphasising that the bridge and the work carried out on it remained safe. The Governor, however, disclosed that some fittings used to secure the bridge had been excavated and taken away by vandals. Governor Sanwo-Olu warned that the Lagos State Government would hunt down those responsible for the act, including those involved in buying and selling stolen public infrastructure materials. Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt have shared joyful news with fans, announcing the birth of their daughter and calling her their “perfect angel girl.” The couple revealed that their baby, Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson, was born on Dec. 12, sharing the announcement through a series of intimate photos on Instagram that showed them holding, cuddling, and caring for their newborn. In the caption, Hewitt expressed deep emotion, writing that the moment left her “overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief,” while Davidson added a brief but personal message of his own.

The baby’s first name appears to carry special meaning for Davidson, as it is widely seen as a tribute to his late father, a New York City firefighter who was killed during the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center. Hewitt, 29, first confirmed her pregnancy in July with a humorous social media post that quickly drew attention, and the birth announcement was met with an outpouring of congratulatory messages from friends and fans alike. The couple chose to cover their daughter’s face with a white heart emoji in the photos, maintaining her privacy.
