 Rosatom Discussing Nuclear Projects With Niger & Ethiopia "Rosatom is open to discussing possible forms of cooperation and is prepared to offer modern, reliable, and safe technologies," the Russian state corporation stated, Sputnik reported. Cooperation between the parties is currently focused on establishing working mechanisms and defining project parameters, with decisions being taken gradually in line with the host country’s priorities and international safety standards, Rosatom said. Rosatom is in dialogue with more than 20 African countries on such areas as the construction of large and small nuclear power plants, nuclear science and technology centers, and the development of uranium deposits.

Rob Reiner and his wife discovered dead in Los Angeles home


 Director and actor Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele, were found dead Sunday at their Los Angeles residence, law enforcement officials confirmed. Investigators believe the couple suffered stab wounds, and a family member is currently being questioned in connection with the case. Authorities described the deaths as an “apparent homicide” and launched an investigation through the Robbery Homicide Division.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a medical aid call shortly after 3:30 p.m., discovering the 78-year-old Reiner and 68-year-old Michele Reiner inside the home located in the upscale Brentwood neighborhood. The identities of the victims have been confirmed by officials, but further details about the circumstances remain under investigation.

Rob Reiner was one of Hollywood’s most influential directors, known for classic films including This Is Spinal Tap, A Few Good Men, When Harry Met Sally, and The Princess Bride. He gained initial fame as Meathead on the 1970s sitcom All in the Family, earning two Emmy Awards for his performance alongside Carroll O’Connor.

Family members of the late producer Norman Lear, who referred to Reiner as a son, expressed grief at the news, highlighting the couple’s dedication to art, activism, philanthropy, and family. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass also mourned the loss, praising Reiner’s impact on American culture and his advocacy for social and economic justice.

Reiner, the son of comedy legend Carl Reiner, had been married to photographer Michele Singer Reiner since 1989. The couple had three children together. Reiner had previously been married to actor-director Penny Marshall from 1971 to 1981 and adopted her daughter, Tracy Reiner. Brentwood, the neighborhood where the couple lived, is rarely the site of violent crime, though it is notably near the location where Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman were killed in 1994.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity.
