 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. Sarah Paulson receives star on Hollywood Walk of Fame 

Actress Sarah Paulson was honored with a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame in recognition of her contributions to television.

The 2,829th star was unveiled Tuesday during a ceremony that included remarks from her partner, Holland Taylor, and fellow actress Amanda Peet. Paulson, a Tony Award winner for her performance in the Broadway production Appropriate, is widely recognized for her work on American Horror Story, where she has appeared across 10 seasons and is set to return for Season 13.

Currently, Paulson stars in All’s Fair alongside Kim Kardashian and Glenn Close, and she is set to play a serial killer in the upcoming anthology series Monster. Ana Martinez, producer of the Walk of Fame, praised Paulson’s impact, noting her star’s placement next to longtime collaborator Ryan Murphy. Murphy, along with Ian Brennan, serves as creator and executive producer for Monster, All’s Fair, and American Horror Story, highlighting their ongoing creative partnership.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
