Yemen fighting pushes nearly 3,000 to Djibouti in less than a week: UN    Nearly 3,000 people have fled Yemen for Djibouti in less than a week as escalating violence drives growing displacement within the country and across its borders, the UN refugee agency said Friday. “Refugees continue to arrive by boat through Obock, Khor Angar, Moulhoule and Godoria after difficult journeys in small vessels,” UNHCR representative in Djibouti Sandrine Desamours told reporters in Geneva, Anadolu Agency reported. More than half of those crossing the Bab el-Mandeb Strait are women and children, while some families have been displaced for a second time after previously fleeing Yemen during the 2015 crisis and later returning. UNHCR is preparing for at least 10,000 new arrivals but warned that capacity is rapidly diminishing. Sarah Paulson receives star on Hollywood Walk of Fame 

Actress Sarah Paulson was honored with a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame in recognition of her contributions to television.

The 2,829th star was unveiled Tuesday during a ceremony that included remarks from her partner, Holland Taylor, and fellow actress Amanda Peet. Paulson, a Tony Award winner for her performance in the Broadway production Appropriate, is widely recognized for her work on American Horror Story, where she has appeared across 10 seasons and is set to return for Season 13.

Currently, Paulson stars in All’s Fair alongside Kim Kardashian and Glenn Close, and she is set to play a serial killer in the upcoming anthology series Monster. Ana Martinez, producer of the Walk of Fame, praised Paulson’s impact, noting her star’s placement next to longtime collaborator Ryan Murphy. Murphy, along with Ian Brennan, serves as creator and executive producer for Monster, All’s Fair, and American Horror Story, highlighting their ongoing creative partnership.
