 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. SECOND SUSPECT ARRESTED IN TOLWE FARM MURDER AND ROBBERY CASE. (PHOTO).


 Second Suspect Arrested in Tolwe Farm Murder and Robbery Case


• A 30-year-old suspect was arrested in the early hours of Thursday, 04 December 2025 at Shongoane 01, Lephalale.


• The arrest is linked to the murder and robbery incident that occurred at a farm in Tolwe policing area.

 

• This comes days after the first suspect was arrested on Tuesday, 02 December 2025.


• The arrests followed a coordinated operation by the Provincial Murder and Robbery Unit, Tolwe and Mokopane Detectives, Bosbeld Misdaad Ondersoeke, and Bosveld Plaasbeveiliging Security Companies.


• During the incident, 77-year-old Mr. Attie Mahne was found tied up and unconscious in his farmhouse and was declared dead at the scene by EMS.


• Police recovered a firearm believed to be stolen.


• The second suspect will appear before Senwabarwana Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 05 December 2025.


• The first suspect, Hendrick Chimule, appeared at Tolwe periodical court and his case was postponed to 29 January 2026; he remains in custody.


• Police investigations are ongoing.
