 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. Shock as 14-year-old boy allegedly takes the life of woman who raised him after she revealed she wasn’t his biological mother


A disturbing incident has left residents of Iju Ishaga in shock after a 14-year-old boy, identified as Emma Chris Okogbe, reportedly confessed to taking the life of the woman who raised him from infancy.


During questioning, the teenager explained that he recently returned from school in Delta State when a friend claimed the woman who raised him was not his real mother. The woman—who had trained him since he was a year old—reportedly confronted the boy spreading the rumour, who offered no concrete answers about his claims.


According to the boy, he later asked his guardian again, and she eventually confirmed she wasn’t his biological mother and told him he could look for his real parents when he was ready.


Investigators say the boy grew upset over the revelation, days later, he pushed her off the stairs and she was later confirmed dead and taken to the mortuary.


Despite raising him, sponsoring his education, and caring for him for years, the teenager admitted he acted out of anger over the discovery.


When asked what he expects from the government, he said he “doesn’t know” with no remorse on his face.
