 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026.  Shock as Popular Radio DJ Warras Shot Dead in Johannesburg CBD


Shock and disbelief have gripped many following reports that popular radio broadcaster and programme host DJ Warras was shot and killed in the Johannesburg CBD earlier today.


 The news of his alleged death was first shared by Durban-based radio station Gagasi FM, where he previously worked. His passing was also confirmed by his friend, Rob Hersov, who shared the information publicly.


 DJ Warras was widely respected in the radio industry and known for his influence and contribution to broadcasting. Details surrounding the incident remain unclear at this stage.


 Police have not yet released an official statement regarding the shooting. Authorities are expected to investigate the matter further to establish the full circumstances of the incident

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
