 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. SON ARRESTED FOR RAPING HIS OWN MOTHER IN SOUTH AFRICA. (PHOTO).

 Son Arrested for Raping his Own Mother


 Watervaal police arrested a 28-year-old man for raping, kidnapping and intimidating his mother at Magangeni village in Watervaal.


 According to the preliminary reports, the suspect came home and started demanding money from his mother on Saturday, 13 December 2025 and she responded that she had no cash.


 The suspect apparently became aggressive and the mother has medical condition. The suspect allegedly insulted, attacked and suddenly raped her.


 The victim tried to resist, but she was overpowered. After the alleged rape ordeal, he locked the victim inside the house and left.


 The victim managed to get assistance from members of the community who unlocked the house and freed her. She then informed the police about the incident and a rape case was registered at Watervaal SAPS.


 The suspect was arrested in the early hours of Monday, 15 December 2025. He will appear before Watervaal Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 17 December 2025, for rape, intimidation, and kidnapping.
