 PRESS RELEASE OPERATION HADIN KAI FOILS MASS ABDUCTION ATTEMPT AT FGGC MONGUNO Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), in collaboration with personnel of the Nigeria Police Mobile Force (MOPOL), successfully foiled an attempted mass abduction by ISWAP terrorists at the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Monguno, at about 0130 hours (1:30 a.m.) on 19 July 2026. The FGGC facility is currently being utilized by the Borno State Government as temporary hostel accommodation for students of the Federal Polytechnic, Monguno. The terrorists reportedly gained access to the facility with the assistance of suspected collaborators in an attempt to abduct students. Alert security personnel immediately engaged the terrorists with coordinated and overwhelming firepower, effectively stalling their advance with Sector 3 Quick Reaction Force (QRF) immediately reinforcing the school. Suspect in Tekashi 6ix9ine home invasion taken into custody

A 19-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with the home invasion of rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, authorities confirmed. Pedro Rodriguez faces multiple charges, including armed home invasion robbery with a firearm, false imprisonment, grand theft, and possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials say Rodriguez is believed to be one of several individuals involved, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing. Last month, four gunmen broke into Tekashi’s Florida residence, with video footage showing the intruders entering through the garage and holding the rapper’s mother at gunpoint. The clip captures one suspect guarding Tekashi’s mother as others ransacked the home in search of cash and car keys before fleeing in a getaway vehicle prior to law enforcement’s arrival.
