 Veekee James and Husband Femi Atere Welcome Their First Child Together Veekee James and her husband, Femi Atere, have welcomed their first child together. The celebrity designer announced the birth of their baby through a series of beautiful family photos shared online, alongside an emotional message describing the newborn as a special blessing and the start of a new chapter in their lives. Sharing the announcement, she wrote: “She’s Here 🤍 @elianaatere 🥹 02-May-26 Eliana Adeife Atere ❤️ EL (God) and ANA (He has answered), signifying “My God has answered” 1 Samuel 1:27 – “For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him.”” Following the announcement, fans, colleagues, and well-wishers across the entertainment and fashion industries flooded social media with congratulatory messages for the couple. TENSION IN GBOKO AS YOUTHS APPREHEND MAN OVER SAME-SEX ALLEGATION

A man was on Tuesday apprehended by a group of youths in Gboko, Benue State, over allegations of engaging in a same-sex relationship.


According to a video circulating on social media, the man was accused of travelling from Lagos to Gboko to visit another male companion. The youths who intercepted him questioned the purpose of the visit and alleged that the meeting suggested a same-sex encounter.


The incident has generated conversations across the community, with some residents expressing concern over rising cases of moral disputes and others warning against mob actions and public shaming.


Security observers have advised that matters of this nature be reported to the police for proper investigation instead of being handled by youths or vigilante groups.


As of the time of filing this report, the Benue State Police Command has not issued an official statement on the incident.
