 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. TENSION IN GBOKO AS YOUTHS APPREHEND MAN OVER SAME-SEX ALLEGATION

A man was on Tuesday apprehended by a group of youths in Gboko, Benue State, over allegations of engaging in a same-sex relationship.


According to a video circulating on social media, the man was accused of travelling from Lagos to Gboko to visit another male companion. The youths who intercepted him questioned the purpose of the visit and alleged that the meeting suggested a same-sex encounter.


The incident has generated conversations across the community, with some residents expressing concern over rising cases of moral disputes and others warning against mob actions and public shaming.


Security observers have advised that matters of this nature be reported to the police for proper investigation instead of being handled by youths or vigilante groups.


As of the time of filing this report, the Benue State Police Command has not issued an official statement on the incident.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
