 Senator Sunday Karimi has raised concerns over the growing incidence of kidnapping and banditry in Kogi State, describing abductions as a daily occurrence in the state. Karimi made the remarks on Wednesday during plenary while contributing to a motion of urgent public importance sponsored by Senator Abdulfatai Buhari on the recent abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Ogbomoso. The lawmaker said kidnapping and banditry have become major security challenges threatening the stability of the country, stressing that responsibility for addressing the menace should not rest solely on the Federal Government. According to him, bandits invaded Ayedun Bunu, a community in Kogi West Senatorial District, in the early hours of Monday and abducted 28 residents.  The Osbourne family came together on December 25, 2025, for a heartfelt Christmas gathering at Sharon Osbourne's home in Buckinghamshire, marking their first holiday season without beloved patriarch Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away earlier this year at age 76.


Kelly Osbourne shared touching photos on Instagram showing 14 family members, including grandchildren and pets, all wearing matching navy, red, and green plaid pajamas—a sweet tradition she organized to bring comfort and closeness during this emotional time. Sharon, 73, stood proudly in the center with a playful smile, surrounded by loved ones, while Kelly sat with her husband Sid Wilson and their young son Sidney near a beautifully decorated tree.


The family focused on unity and cherished memories, with Kelly captioning the post "Merry Christmas from The Osbourne family!!!" to spread warmth and joy amid the bittersweet day. Jack Osbourne spent the holiday in Los Angeles, but the gathering highlighted the strength and love that continue to bind the Osbournes.
