 An Arkansas woman and her two children were found deceased in their home one day after her final divorce hearing. The man she divorced is a former Central Illinois physician. He was formerly employed as a physician at a Carle Clinic in Mattoon, Illinois.  Beautiful 40-year-old Charity Beallis had been telling anyone who would listen that she did not feel safe in the weeks and months leading up to her untimely death. Charity had been in the process of leaving her husband Randall after a February 2025 severe domestic violence incident.  After the assault, Charity had split with Randall and was not only seeking a divorce, but also full custody of her children. Randall was facing a litany of charges in connection to that February incident; however he would ultimately only be convicted of one count of third-degree battery.  US Seizes Nigerian-Owned Supertanker Over Alleged Crude Theft


The US Coast Guard has seized Skipper, a Nigerian-owned supertanker, over suspected crude theft, piracy, and drug trafficking. Guyana says the vessel was illegally flying its flag.


Maritime stakeholders say the incident highlights gaps in Nigeria’s port oversight. The seizure comes amid NEITI’s report that Nigeria lost $3.3bn to crude theft and sabotage in one year.
