 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity. Wicked: For Good now streaming


“Wicked: For Good” part two is now available to stream at home, officially hitting digital platforms on Dec. 30, 2025, at 12 a.m. ET (Dec. 29, 9 p.m. PT) on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV.

The film is being offered as a premium video-on-demand (PVOD) release, with digital purchase priced at $29.99 or rental for $19.99, valid for 30 days. Amazon Prime Video also allows fans to bundle both films in the “Wicked” collection for $39.98.

For those who prefer physical copies, “Wicked: For Good” is available to pre-order on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, or DVD through Amazon, with prices starting at $19.95 for DVD, $24.95 for Blu-ray, and $29.95 for 4K. All physical editions include a digital code for streaming on devices. Collectors can also pre-order a limited edition 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital Gift Set for $229.99, with a release date of Feb. 3, 2026.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
