Trump issues pardon to former Republican congressman Stephen Buyer after insider trading conviction    President Donald Trump has issued a full pardon to former Republican congressman Stephen Buyer, who served nearly two years in prison after being convicted of insider trading tied to post-congressional consulting work. Buyer was sentenced in 2023 to 22 months in prison for illegal stock trades made while working as a consultant and lobbyist. He was ordered to forfeit more than $350,000 in ill-gotten gains and pay a $10,000 fine. He was released from custody in 2025 after his conviction was upheld, with the Supreme Court declining to take up his appeal earlier this year. The family of Anche Iwuese Vivian, 19, from Kanshio, Makurdi, Benue State, has launched a desperate appeal to the public to help locate her.


Anche was last seen wearing a pink top and black trousers near her home behind Towering Tots School, Makurdi. Her parents, Innocent Adasu and Adasu Mnena Grace, are urging anyone with information to reach out immediately.


She can be reported via phone at +234 902 240 0388 or through the nearest police station.


The family is calling on the public to share this alert widely to help bring Anche safely back home.
