 PRESS RELEASE OPERATION HADIN KAI FOILS MASS ABDUCTION ATTEMPT AT FGGC MONGUNO Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), in collaboration with personnel of the Nigeria Police Mobile Force (MOPOL), successfully foiled an attempted mass abduction by ISWAP terrorists at the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Monguno, at about 0130 hours (1:30 a.m.) on 19 July 2026. The FGGC facility is currently being utilized by the Borno State Government as temporary hostel accommodation for students of the Federal Polytechnic, Monguno. The terrorists reportedly gained access to the facility with the assistance of suspected collaborators in an attempt to abduct students. Alert security personnel immediately engaged the terrorists with coordinated and overwhelming firepower, effectively stalling their advance with Sector 3 Quick Reaction Force (QRF) immediately reinforcing the school.  95 princes, princesses indicate interest in stool of Awujale


A total of 95 princes and princesses of Fusengbuwa Ruling House have indicated interest in the stool of Awujale of Ijebuland.

The Olori Ebi of Fusengbuwa Ruling House who is also Otunba Jadiara, Lateef Owoyemi disclosed this today at the commencement of Nomination Meeting of the  held at Bisi Rodipe Hall, GRA , Ijebu Ode.

Other leaders of the Ruling House at the meeting included Deputy Olori Ebi, Otunba Ajidagba, Chairman, Chief Fassy Yusuf among others.

Otunba Owoyemi, who is a former ICAN President, told the meeting that the names of those who scaled the first hurdle would be forwarded to the Afobajes.

He said the Afobajes would pick one of the candidates as the next Awujale and forward his name to the Ogun State Government.

He those in disagreement with the exercise can channel their grievances to the government.
