 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. A KENTUCKY MOTHER OF THREE LOST HER LIFE IN A HEAD-ON COLLISION AFTER AN 81-YEAR-OLD DRIVER CROSSED THE CENTER LANE.(PHOTO).


 A Kentucky mother of three lost her life in a head-on collision after an 81-year-old driver crossed the center lane.


35-year-old Brandy Nash was on her way to visit her mother on the morning of Wednesday, January 14th.


With her husband driving and two of her 3 children in tow, the family were making their way down Taft Highway near Dry Ridge, Kentucky, when the tragedy struck. 


At approximately 11 a.m., a car being driven by an unidentified 81-year-old woman crossed the center line. 


The ensuing crash was catastrophic.  Brandy Nash was in the passenger seat of the family's vehicle. She was pronounced deceased on the scene.  


The 81-year-old woman was also pronounced deceased on scene. 


Brandy's husband was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital with non-life threatening  injuries.


Both children were also rushed to the hospital.  One child suffered significant injuries and was forced to undergo surgery. The second child was treated for minor injuries and was released. 


The crash remains under investigation.
