 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event.  ALLEGED GHOST SIGHTING NEAR LANGATA CEMETERY SPARKS PUBLIC DEBATE

A CCTV footage allegedly showing ghost-like figures near Langata Cemetery has sparked public debate and anxiety among residents of the area.


A resident, identified as Nyakundi, who installed CCTV cameras around the cemetery vicinity, said the footage was recorded at about 3:00 a.m. According to him, the video captured mysterious figures emerging from the area, appearing to dance and exchange gestures resembling greetings.


The footage, which has since circulated widely on social media, has generated mixed reactions, with some residents expressing fear and linking the images to paranormal activity, while others have attributed the scene to possible camera distortion, poor visibility, or human movement.


As at the time of filing this report, security agencies and relevant authorities were yet to issue an official statement on the incident.


The development has continued to draw public attention, raising questions over the authenticity of the footage and the circumstances surrounding the alleged sighting.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
