 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion.  Avatar: Fire and Ash leads North American box office for fifth consecutive weekend


Avatar: Fire and Ash has maintained its grip on the North American box office, claiming the top spot for a fifth consecutive weekend with $13.3 million in ticket sales from Friday through Sunday.

Following in second place is 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, which brought in $13 million, while Zootopia 2 took third with $8.8 million. The Housemaid earned $8.5 million for fourth place, and Marty Supreme rounds out the top five with $5.5 million.

Other notable performers include Primate at sixth with $5 million, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring at seventh with $3.5 million, Greenland 2 at eighth with $3.4 million, Anaconda at ninth with $3.2 million, and The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants in tenth with $2.3 million.
