 Unknown individuals looted palliatives at our Owerri rally – City Boy Movement An empowerment programme organised by the City Boy Movement, a support group for President Bola Tinubu, descended into disorder on Saturday when a large crowd surged forward and looted items intended for distribution to beneficiaries across Nigeria's South-East region. The event, held at Heroes Square in Owerri, marked the official launch of the Renewed Hope National Tour and the City Boy Movement South-East Youth Tour and Empowerment Programme on March 14, 2026. It aimed to provide support to young people, market traders, and vulnerable individuals from Abia, Anambra, Imo, Ebonyi, and Enugu states. Bauchi Police Arrest 28-Year-Old Male for Criminal Intimidation, Assault, and Rape


... As CP Omolori Reiterates That Justice Will Not Be Tampered With


On 31/12/2025 at about 1042hrs, one Baffa'ji Muhammed 'm' reported at the Divisional Police Headquarters, Alkaleri, that on 30/12/2025 at about 1830hrs, one Baffa'ji Abba 'm' aged 28yrs (same address with the complainant), lured his biological daughter (name withheld) aged 8yrs of into a bathroom and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her through both her vagina and anus for about five times in a single day against her will.


On receipt of the report, a team of detectives led by CSP Kadiri Danjuma, DPO Alkaleri, swiftly visited the scene, moved the victim to General Hospital Alkaleri for immediate medical attention, and arrested the suspect.


During interrogation, the suspect willingly confessed to the crime without much ado.


The Commissioner of Police, Bauchi State Command, CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu psc(+), mni, has ordered the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) to conduct a discreet and diligent, investigation-based evidence gathering to explore the intricacies associated with the case.


The suspect will eventually be profiled and charged to court for the established offences.
