 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail. BRAZILIAN DJ AND REALITY STAR MAYCON DOUGLAS, 26, WAS FOUND DEAD ON JANUARY 7 ON A BEACH IN NAZARÉ, PORTUGAL, ONE WEEK AFTER HE WENT MISSING ON NEW YEAR'S EVE.(PHOTO).

 Brazilian DJ and reality star Maycon Douglas, 26, was found dead on January 7 on a beach in Nazaré, Portugal, one week after he went missing on New Year's Eve.

Maycon was last seen DJing at a bar before leaving in the early morning hours of December 31. His car was later found by rescue teams underwater near the São Miguel Arcanjo lighthouse.


Maycon had lived in Portugal since childhood and gained recognition appearing on the Portuguese reality show "Secret Story." He had nearly 50,000 followers on Instagram where he shared his work as a DJ and performer.


His girlfriend Raquel Coelho paid tribute on social media, expressing her love and grief. Portuguese authorities have stated that no criminal activity is suspected. Additional examinations are being conducted to determine the exact circumstances.
