 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. BRAZILIAN DJ AND REALITY STAR MAYCON DOUGLAS, 26, WAS FOUND DEAD ON JANUARY 7 ON A BEACH IN NAZARÉ, PORTUGAL, ONE WEEK AFTER HE WENT MISSING ON NEW YEAR'S EVE.(PHOTO).

 Brazilian DJ and reality star Maycon Douglas, 26, was found dead on January 7 on a beach in Nazaré, Portugal, one week after he went missing on New Year's Eve.

Maycon was last seen DJing at a bar before leaving in the early morning hours of December 31. His car was later found by rescue teams underwater near the São Miguel Arcanjo lighthouse.


Maycon had lived in Portugal since childhood and gained recognition appearing on the Portuguese reality show "Secret Story." He had nearly 50,000 followers on Instagram where he shared his work as a DJ and performer.


His girlfriend Raquel Coelho paid tribute on social media, expressing her love and grief. Portuguese authorities have stated that no criminal activity is suspected. Additional examinations are being conducted to determine the exact circumstances.
