 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. BROOKLYN BECKHAM HAS REPORTEDLY ISSUED A FORMAL LEGAL NOTICE TO HIS PARENTS, DAVID AND VICTORIA BECKHAM, REQUESTING THAT FUTURE COMMUNICATION GO THROUGH HIS LAWYERS AS FAMILY TENSIONS CONTINUE.(PHOTO).

 Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly issued a formal legal notice to his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, requesting that future communication go through his lawyers as family tensions continue.

According to reports, the letter, described as a request rather than a legal threat, also asked his parents to stop tagging him on social media. Brooklyn reportedly wants any potential reconciliation to remain private rather than public.


The letter was sent last summer. Brooklyn reportedly felt his wishes for privacy were not being respected and that his parents continued mentioning him online instead of reaching out privately.The situation reportedly intensified after Brooklyn shared a cooking video on Instagram. When Victoria liked the post, Brooklyn viewed this as not respecting his request. He subsequently blocked his immediate family on social media.


Brooklyn's wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, has also limited social media contact with the family, while Brooklyn's grandparents and extended relatives remain in contact with him. Sources say there has been no direct communication between Brooklyn and his parents for around 13 months.Family friends say David and Victoria have been deeply affected by the situation and maintain they simply want their son to know they remain available to him.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
