 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ALLEGATION ROCKS SOCIAL MEDIA IN BENUE AS MAN FINGERED IN LOVER'S ASSAULT

A wave of public concern has followed a social media post alleging domestic violence against a man identified as Mr. Suega Adega.


The allegation, brought to light by social commentator D’naked Elder Sughnen Yaaya, claims that Mr. Adega physically assaulted his girlfriend during a domestic altercation. The woman, who reportedly described him as her “lovely boyfriend and husband-to-be,” was said to have reported the incident to the police.


According to the post, the victim reached out for help after the alleged assault. However, efforts to contact Mr. Adega were unsuccessful, as several phone calls reportedly went unanswered.


Reacting to the development, the commentator stated that he has maintained a policy of staying out of romantic disputes since 2021, stressing that such matters should be handled strictly by law enforcement agencies, especially as a formal complaint had already been filed.


As of press time, Mr. Adega had not responded to the allegation, while the police were yet to issue an official statement on the matter.
