 Gov Uba Sani Announces Plan For Nigeria’s largest Inter-state Bus Terminal In Kaduna Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has unveiled plans to construct what he described as the largest inter-state bus terminal in Nigeria, both in scale and supporting infrastructure. The governor made the announcement on Sunday during the groundbreaking ceremony for the project, which will be located on a 20-hectare site along the Eastern Bypass in Chikun Local Government Area of the state. According to him, the ultra-modern facility will operate as a dual terminal capable of accommodating over 5,000 vehicles. It will be equipped with intelligent traffic management systems, advanced surveillance infrastructure, escalators and elevators to ensure easy access for all users, including the elderly and persons with disabilities.  Taylor Swift joins Songwriters Hall of Fame as one of its youngest inductees

Taylor Swift has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, making her one of the youngest members ever at 36. The announcement came on Wednesday, placing the global pop star alongside other 2026 honorees, including Walter Afanasieff, Terry Britten and Graham Lyle, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of Kiss, Kenny Loggins, Alanis Morissette, and Christopher “Tricky” Stewart.

Eligibility for the hall requires that a songwriter’s first commercially released work be at least 20 years old. Swift’s debut single, “Tim McGraw,” first hit the airwaves in June 2006, qualifying her for consideration. She is now the second youngest living inductee, behind Stevie Wonder, who was 32 when he joined in 1983. For her submission, Swift highlighted hits such as “All Too Well (10 Minute Version),” “Blank Space,” “Anti-Hero,” “Love Story,” and “The Last Great American Dynasty.” The induction ceremony is scheduled for June 11 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. Swift’s summer could be especially eventful, as she is expected to marry Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, though no official date has been announced. Meanwhile, her post-“Eras Tour” album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” has continued to dominate charts, with “The Fate of Ophelia” spending 10 weeks atop the Hot 100 and “Opalite” reaching No. 2.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
