 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  FCTA STAFF BEGIN INDEFINITE STRIKE


Activities at the the Secretariats of the Federal Capital Territory Administration and the Federal Capital Development Authority, FCDA have been grounded following the strike embarked upon by  the Joint Union Action Committee over demands for improved working conditions.


As early as Monday morning, the main gates of the secretariats of the Federal Capital Territory Administration and the Federal Capital Development Authority  were under lock, preventing staff and visitors from gaining access to the complex for their daily routines. 


Many workers remained at home in strict compliance with the industrial action in order to press home their demands, for a better working condition in the FCTA.


The JUAC Chairperson urges members to maintain the status quo until further directives. 


Long queues of vehicles were seen parked on the road shoulders which are indications of no retreat no surrender by the leadership of the JUAC.
