 GOVERNMENT OF RIVERS STATE   PRESS STATEMENT  MY DECISION TO WITHDRAW FROM THE RIVERS  STATE  GUBERNATORIAL PRIMARIES  Fellow Rivers People, After deep reflection and extensive consultations with my family, friends, and associates, I have taken the difficult but necessary decision to withdraw from the APC gubernatorial primaries. I do so with a full heart and with a firm commitment to support whoever emerges as the candidate of our great party. Leadership is ultimately about sacrifice. There comes a time when personal ambition must yield to the greater good of the people. Rivers State is bigger than any individual, and at this critical moment, the peace, stability, and unity of our dear state must take precedence over every personal interest.  Fire Outbreak: Borno IDPs record losses in Yobe Community. 


One Hospitalised as Fire Outbreak Razes Over 76 IDP Shelters 


A fire outbreak has razed over 76 temporary shelters belonging to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Ngamma village, Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State, Northeast Nigeria.


The affected IDPs are mainly migrants from Borno State who have been taking refuge in the community.


Following directives from Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni,the Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) promptly visited the scene of the incident , where it conducted a comprehensive assessment of the damages.


Preliminary findings revealed that one person was hospitalised, while one household was completely burnt. 


The fire also destroyed livestock and numerous bags of foodstuffs, further compounding the suffering of the already vulnerable families.


Eyewitnesses and victims recounted their losses amid tears, appealing for urgent humanitarian assistance and support.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
