Yemen fighting pushes nearly 3,000 to Djibouti in less than a week: UN    Nearly 3,000 people have fled Yemen for Djibouti in less than a week as escalating violence drives growing displacement within the country and across its borders, the UN refugee agency said Friday. “Refugees continue to arrive by boat through Obock, Khor Angar, Moulhoule and Godoria after difficult journeys in small vessels,” UNHCR representative in Djibouti Sandrine Desamours told reporters in Geneva, Anadolu Agency reported. More than half of those crossing the Bab el-Mandeb Strait are women and children, while some families have been displaced for a second time after previously fleeing Yemen during the 2015 crisis and later returning. UNHCR is preparing for at least 10,000 new arrivals but warned that capacity is rapidly diminishing. Congratulations pour in as Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele's 'Behind the scenes' movie crosses two billion naira(2b) at the box office, the first Nollywood movie to ever reach such height.


Funke Akindele took to her X account to announce this in a celebratory video with some of the casts of the movie. 


"Our hearts are full of gratitude to God and to you, our amazing fans who have become family. Thank you for believing in this journey. This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without you.


"BehindTheScenes is showing nationwide, in the UK & Ireland at select Odeon cinemas, in the USA at Regal Cinemas, and in Canada from January 16 at Landmark Cinemas", she captioned the video.


The BehindTheScenes movie features A-list actors like Scarlet Gomez, Funke Akindele, Iyabo Ojo, Destiny Etiko, Tobi Bakre, Uche Montana, Uzor Arukwe, Ini Dima-Okojie, Adebowale ‘Mr Macaroni’, Ibrahim Chatta and Kamo State, alongside several other established and emerging actors.
