 NAF INTENSIFIES AIRPOWER CAMPAIGN, STRENGTHENS AIR PRESENCE IN SOKOTO TO DENY TERRORISTS FREEDOM OF ACTION The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified its airpower campaign against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities across the North-West, with a strengthened air presence in Sokoto State to support ongoing joint security operations. The initiative reflects the Service’s determination to sustain pressure on hostile elements, enhance aerial surveillance and maintain the capacity for rapid response to emerging threats, while providing effective air support to ground forces operating within the Joint Operations Area. The strengthened air presence is particularly significant in the fight against asymmetric threats, where terrorists and bandits exploit difficult terrain, mobility and concealment to evade ground forces.  GUNMEN STRIKE IWANEV COMMUNITY, TWO KILLED, THREE ABDUCTED IN BENUE

A security alert has been raised following a deadly overnight attack on Iwanev community at Ugbema Junction in Buruku Local Government Area of Benue State.


Reports from the area indicate that a group of unidentified gunmen stormed the community under the cover of darkness, killing two residents and abducting three others to an unknown destination.


The incident has thrown the community into fear, with residents calling for urgent intervention to prevent further attacks.


Community sources appealed to the Benue State Government, under the leadership of Governor Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, and the Chairman of Buruku Local Government Area, Hon. Raymond Zege Aondoakura, to take immediate and decisive action to restore security and safeguard lives and property in the area.


Residents urged security agencies to intensify patrols and investigations to track down the perpetrators and secure the release of those abducted.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
