 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. Hypeman MC Fish fires back at critics, defends his career and marriage to actress Anita Joseph 

Anita Joseph’s ex-husband and hypeman, MC Fish, has reacted strongly to comments and narratives trailing his crashed marriage to the actress.

Without mentioning her name directly, MC Fish addressed claims that he lived off his ex-wife and did not contribute financially during their marriage. He insisted he has worked as an MC and hypeman for over 15 years and fully earns his money.

According to him, anyone saying he depended on his former wife is “very stupid,” stressing that their marriage lasted five years and daring anyone to claim she single-handedly carried the financial burden during that time.

He also pushed back against the way hypemen are often looked down on, calling out people who insult the profession online but still hire hypemen and pay them well for parties and events.

MC Fish further claimed he supported his ex-wife’s growth, saying he helped her set up businesses, worked on her monetisation across social media platforms, and even handled roles as her manager, PR, and protocol handler at some point.

Addressing those attacking him online, he warned that if lies continue, he would respond with names and details, adding that he has deliberately stayed silent because of how busy he was through December.
