 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event.  ‘I’ll never marry a Nigerian’ – Peller vows after breakup with Jarvis 


TikTok star, Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has vowed never to marry a Nigerian following his messy breakup with fellow Nigerian content creator, Jarvis.

Speaking during a recent livestream, Peller opened up about his encounter with a demure lady from eSwatini, whom he described as his ideal woman.

He explained that the lady is not only beautiful but also calm and collected.

The 20-year-old added that he is ready to go to the Southern African nation and pay the lady’s bride price.

“I recently encountered a lady from eSwatini, she’s not only very beautiful but also calm and collected.

“I will never marry a Nigerian. eSwatini is my new target for finding a wife. I will go to the country and marry that lady. I will give her father 17 cows,” he said.

Peller also warned fans to stop mocking him over his breakup with Jarvis, threatening to block them if they disregard his warning.

He has previously stated that his relationship with Jarvis is now purely platonic.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
