 Gov Uba Sani Announces Plan For Nigeria’s largest Inter-state Bus Terminal In Kaduna Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has unveiled plans to construct what he described as the largest inter-state bus terminal in Nigeria, both in scale and supporting infrastructure. The governor made the announcement on Sunday during the groundbreaking ceremony for the project, which will be located on a 20-hectare site along the Eastern Bypass in Chikun Local Government Area of the state. According to him, the ultra-modern facility will operate as a dual terminal capable of accommodating over 5,000 vehicles. It will be equipped with intelligent traffic management systems, advanced surveillance infrastructure, escalators and elevators to ensure easy access for all users, including the elderly and persons with disabilities. KIANNA UNDERWOOD, FORMER NICKELODEON CHILD STAR, DEAD AT 33.(PHOTO).

Kianna Underwood, a former Nickelodeon child star known for her roles in "AI| That" and"Little Bill," died in a hit-and-run accident in Brooklyn at 33. 

The incident occurred on January 16, 2026, when Underwood was struck by a black Ford SUV while crossing the intersection of Watkins Street and Pitkin Avenue , The driver failed to stop after the collision and continued driving for nearly a block with Underwood's body trapped underneath. Authorities have not made any arrests, and the investigation is ongoing . 

Underwood rose to fame as a child performer on Nickelodeon's popular sketch comedy series "All That," where she appeared alongside future Saturday Night Live star Kenan Thompson. She also voiced the character Fuschia Glover in the animated series "Little Bill"' and performed on stage in the musical"Hairspray The hit-and-run incident has sparked renewed attention to pedestrian safety in New York City, with many calling for stricter safety measures , Underwood's death is a tragic reminder of the importance of road safety and accountability in such incidents.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
