 TRAGIC LOSS OF NYSC CORPS MEMBER DURING ARMED ROBBERY INCIDENT IN DEI-DEI Headquarters Guards Brigade regrets the tragic loss of Mr. Abdulsamad Jamiu, a serving National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member  during a security incident in the early hours of 25 April 2026 at Shagari Estate, Dei-Dei, Abuja. The unfortunate incident occurred when troops of the Guards Brigade Quick Response Group, on routine night patrol, responded to a distress call following an armed robbery attack in the area. Upon arrival, the troops came under gunfire from the fleeing armed robbers, resulting in a brief but intense exchange. In the course of the engagement, Mr. Jamiu was caught in the crossfire. Despite efforts by troops to secure the area and preserve lives, he sadly succumbed to his injuries. This heartbreaking loss has cast a deep shadow over all personnel of the Guards Brigade.  Lady Gaga set to perform at the 2026 Grammys 

Fourteen-time Grammy winner Lady Gaga is set to perform at the 2026 Grammy Awards on Sunday. She enters the show with seven nominations, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for Mayhem, as well as multiple nods for her songs “Abracadabra,” “Disease,” and Harlequin.

Other performers include Justin Bieber, Clipse, Pharrell Williams, Sabrina Carpenter, Addison Rae, Alex Warren, KATSEYE, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, SOMBR, and The Marías. Andrew Wyatt, Post Malone, Chad Smith, Duff McKagan, and Slash will pay tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, while Brandy Clark, Reba McEntire, and Lukas Wilson will lead the In Memoriam segment honoring artists who passed away last year. The ceremony will air live Sunday at 8 p.m. EST on CBS and stream on Paramount+, with Trevor Noah returning as host for a sixth consecutive year.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
