 MISSING KANSHIO LADY REAPPEARS, FAMILY RAISES ALARM OVER CONFLICTING STORIES  11th January, 2026      The family of a young woman earlier reported missing in Kanshio, Makurdi, Benue State, has raised fresh concerns after she contacted them to say she was not missing and had travelled to Port Harcourt for work. A family source told Benue Info-pedia, that the woman reached out a day after alerts about her disappearance circulated on social media, urging relatives to stop searching for her and to discontinue further posts about the matter. However, the explanation has triggered suspicion within the family, following what they described as inconsistent details surrounding her movements. According to the source, the woman had travelled to Gboko during the Christmas period to stay with her elder sister, where she reportedly met a man and began interacting with him.  In her usual tradition in expressing love, celebrating the joyous moments of a newborn which symbolizes new beginnings and putting smiles on the faces of first baby's of the year and their parents, the Chairman, Ijede LCDA, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba represented by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Kabiru again has presented cash and gift items to the Year 2026 babies of the year, baby Kayode (female), baby Alabi (female) and baby Ogunbowale (male)today at the General Hospital, Ijede 


Mrs Kayode Olabisi mother of first baby delivered through Ceasearian section at exactly 12.29am, with birth weight of 3.9kg.


Other babies of the year, baby Alabi, and baby Ogunbowale were also delivered through Ceasearian section at exactly 2.42am, 4.17am weighing 3kg and 3.1kg respectively


In the same vein, Egbin Power PLC, the foremost power station in Nigeria as part of it's cooperate social responsibility also presented cash gift to baby Kayode, baby Alabi and baby Ogunbowale


The Deputy Medical Director, Dr. Babatope Oni with other management staff appreciated the Chairman and Egbin Power PLC for their warm and kind gesture towards putting smiles on people's faces and giving back to the society.
