  Woman allegedly stabs husband to death in Umuokereke Ngwa, Abia State A woman identified as Innocent Serah has allegedly stabbed her husband, Innocent Nwaọjị, to death in Umuokereke Ngwa, Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State. The incident occurred on Saturday night and has left residents of the community in shock. Details of what led to the alleged stabbing remain unclear, though reports indicate Nwaọjị was attacked while asleep. Community member David Amaraizu confirmed the development in a telephone interview with journalists on Sunday. He said the couple, who married in December 2025, had been together for barely eight months. “We are not aware of any disagreement between the couple before the incident,” Amaraizu said. “The woman has been arrested and is currently in police custody, while the deceased’s body has been deposited at a morgue.” When contacted, Abia State Police Public Relations Officer Maureen Chinaka said she would get back to journalists.  Leigh-Anne Pinnock, known from Little Mix, recently shared insights on a challenging time in her marriage to footballer Andre Gray during an interview on Paloma Faith's podcast.
