Alleged Graft: ICPC Confirms Nasir El-rufai’s Arrest After His Release From EFCC Custody PRESS RELEASE  The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) writes to state  that Malam Nasiru El-Rufai the former Governor of Kaduna state is in our custody as at close of work, Wednesday the 18th day of February, 2026.   Malam Nasiru El-Rufai is in the  custody of the Commission in connection with investigations.  J.  MAYOR OF AGUATA LGA COMMISSIONS DOCTORS’ QUARTERS BUILT BY EJIAMATU AGE GRADE, AMANASAA, UMUCHU


The Mayor of Aguata Local Government Area Council, Dr. Chibueze Ofobuike, joined Ejiamatu Age Grade, Amanasaa, Umuchu to commission the newly completed Doctors’ Quarters Building Complex at Visitation Hospital, Umuchu.


While commissioning the project, Dr. Ofobuike commended the Ejiamatu Age Grade for placing Umuchu first through their selfless commitment to community development. He praised their vision, unity, and sense of responsibility, noting that the project would greatly enhance healthcare delivery by providing decent accommodation for medical personnel and encouraging doctors to live closer to their place of service.


The Mayor described the initiative as a shining example of what purposeful leadership and collective effort can achieve, urging other age grades and community groups in the entire local government area to emulate the Ejiamatu Age Grade’s dedication to sustainable development and public welfare.
