 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment.  MAYOR OF AGUATA LGA COMMISSIONS DOCTORS’ QUARTERS BUILT BY EJIAMATU AGE GRADE, AMANASAA, UMUCHU


The Mayor of Aguata Local Government Area Council, Dr. Chibueze Ofobuike, joined Ejiamatu Age Grade, Amanasaa, Umuchu to commission the newly completed Doctors’ Quarters Building Complex at Visitation Hospital, Umuchu.


While commissioning the project, Dr. Ofobuike commended the Ejiamatu Age Grade for placing Umuchu first through their selfless commitment to community development. He praised their vision, unity, and sense of responsibility, noting that the project would greatly enhance healthcare delivery by providing decent accommodation for medical personnel and encouraging doctors to live closer to their place of service.


The Mayor described the initiative as a shining example of what purposeful leadership and collective effort can achieve, urging other age grades and community groups in the entire local government area to emulate the Ejiamatu Age Grade’s dedication to sustainable development and public welfare.
