 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Mr Ibu's ex-manager urges Enugu government to place the late actor's children on scholarship

 


Ex-manager of late Nollywood actor John Okafor(Mr Ibu), Mr. Dominic Nwuzor, has today, Monday 19th January 2026, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria Abuja, appealed to the Enugu State government to provide scholarships for the late actor’s children. 


Nwuzor reportedly managed late Jon Okafor for more than two decades before his passing in March 2024.


He urged the state government to consider the children of the late actor in its effort to bolster education through targeted scholarships across the state.


Nwuzor said;

"We have appealed for scholarship opportunities for the children, and will continue to do so, so that something can be done.


"His Excellency, Governor Peter Mbah, is a leader with a large heart and does not take lightly the education of the people, especially the vulnerable ones.


"We hope he will consider offering scholarships to the offspring of the man who used his talent to make the state proud across Africa and beyond".
