 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion.  Anambra Billionaire, Obi Cubana Receives new Chieftaincy Title in Enugu-Ukwu as "Ife Igbo Ji Ka Mba” of Igbo land


Renowned Nigerian billionaire, entrepreneur, and socialite Obinna Iyiegbu, also known as Obi Cubana has been honoured with new prestigious chieftaincy title “Ife Igbo Ji Ka Mba” in Igbo land.


The title was conferred on the business mogul on Saturday, 3 January 2026, during a colourful traditional ceremony attended by royal fathers, community leaders, and dignitaries from across the region. The event celebrated Igbo culture, heritage, and leadership.


Sharing moments from the ceremony on his official Instagram page, Obi Cubana expressed deep gratitude to the traditional rulers and the entire community for the honour bestowed upon him. He described the recognition as humbling and symbolic, noting that it comes with a greater sense of responsibility to serve and uplift his people.
