 NEMA COORDINATES SAR OPS AT THE SCENE OF BUILDING COLLAPSE INVOLVING A THREE STOREY BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT GUDU AREA OF FCT At about 0945hrs on Saturday 16th May, 2026, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted of a building collapse at Gudu District of FCT.  Critical stakeholders including Federal Fire, FCT Fire, NSCDC, NPF, FRSC and Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were activated while a response team of NEMA from the Abuja Operations Office led by the Head of Operations Mr Zakari Abubakar  and operatives from AYA Emergency Response Bay (ERAB) were deployed to the scene for quick response and coordination.  A reinforcement team  from NEMA Headquarters led by the Director Search and Response (DSAR) Air Cdre Bature Usman was also on ground to provide necessary backup and supervision.  Peter Obi, in company of Ebonyi and Enugu former governors visits Nwobodo in Enugu 


Labour party Presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi, held a closed door meeting with the former governor of Old Anambra State, Chief Jim Nwobodo.


Obi, arrived the Amechi, Nkanu West country home of the Nwobodo at 1.55pm in company of the former governors Sam Egwu(Ebonyi state), Okwy Nwodo (Enugu State), Senator Ben Ndi Obi and Senator Gilbert Nnaji, among others.


Although details of the meeting is being awaited, it is believed that Obi who formally joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) last week, may have come to solicit the support of Nwobodo on his new platform.


Obi has not hidden his interest to contest the presidency of the country. He believes that the ADC would offer him the right platform to contest the position in 2027.


The meeting is coming closely after the senator representing Abia North, Senator Orji Kalu, and Enugu Governor, Peter Mbah, held a closed door meeting with Nwobodo on the politics of the southeast region in 2027.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
