 Zango Kataf, Jaba PDP Committees Hold Reconciliation Meeting Ahead Of 2027 Elections The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Working Committees in Zango Kataf and Jaba Local Government Areas have held a strategic reconciliation meeting aimed at strengthening party unity and positioning the party for success in the 2027 general elections. The meeting, held on Friday, July 31, 2026, in Jaba Local Government Area, was jointly chaired by the PDP Chairmen of Jaba and Zango Kataf LGAs, Sabastine David Bijiri and Martins Markus Koyah. It brought together party executives, stakeholders, ward officials, elders, youth and women leaders, as well as members from both local government areas. Speaking at the meeting, the Zango Kataf PDP Chairman commended party leaders and members for supporting the zoning of the party’s House of Representatives ticket to Zango Kataf Local Government Area.  Peter Obi made Anambra people pay Excessive Taxes including Poor Anambra Market Women, when he was Governor. Today, The Same Obi Accuses President Tinubu of Taxing Poverty- Reno Omokri 


Newly appointed Ambassador, Reno Omokri has criticized the former governor of Anambra, Mr Peter Obi over his statements about the current tax reform by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.


Reno Omokri posted a video of an alleged protest by Anambra market women that was recording in 2013 when Peter Obi was still governor of Anambra. Below is the caption Reno used for the video which he posted on his official Facebook account.

A careful attention to the video posted by Reno revealed that the women were protesting against a levy that the state government made compulsory for market women that own a shop to pay. Reno condemned Peter Obi's accusations in president Tinubu stating that he once did what he is accusing Tinubu of when he was a governor.
