 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion.  Peter Obi made Anambra people pay Excessive Taxes including Poor Anambra Market Women, when he was Governor. Today, The Same Obi Accuses President Tinubu of Taxing Poverty- Reno Omokri 


Newly appointed Ambassador, Reno Omokri has criticized the former governor of Anambra, Mr Peter Obi over his statements about the current tax reform by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.


Reno Omokri posted a video of an alleged protest by Anambra market women that was recording in 2013 when Peter Obi was still governor of Anambra. Below is the caption Reno used for the video which he posted on his official Facebook account.

A careful attention to the video posted by Reno revealed that the women were protesting against a levy that the state government made compulsory for market women that own a shop to pay. Reno condemned Peter Obi's accusations in president Tinubu stating that he once did what he is accusing Tinubu of when he was a governor.
